Elise serves as Indiana’s State Comptroller, upholding the highest standards of fiscal responsibility and transparent governance. Since taking office in 2023, she has managed the state’s accounting, disbursements, payroll, and deferred compensation plan — while enhancing public access to financial data through the Indiana Transparency Portal. Elise brings over two decades of real-world financial expertise to protecting Hoosier taxpayer dollars. She relates to taxpayers as an entrepreneur and is the former president of the Boone County Council and the Indiana County Councils Association.
